On December 21, to further learn about the development of the planning and design industry in Nansha District, Guangzhou, and better carry out the GBAUDA activities, Pan An, president of Guangzhou Urban Planning Association (GZUPA), led a team of the association to investigate the new planning and design institutes of Nansha as representatives of the GBAUDA. The GZUPA is the rotating city professional group of the Greater Bay Area Urban Designers Alliance (GBAUDA).
President Pan and others visited the permanent base of the GBAUDA set in Guangzhou Nansha Planning and Design Institute Co., Ltd. and expressed their gratitude for the activity base it has provided. He had an in-depth discussion with Power China Urban Planning and Design Institute Co., Ltd. revolving around “water, energy and the city” empowering the high-quality development of the Greater Bay Area. He learned about the founding process, personnel, organizational structure, the performance of the institute in the international competition on urban design, and other information of the Beijing THUPDi Planning and Design Institute Co., Ltd (the Greater Bay Area).
President Pan also introduced the GBAUDA’s latest news and future plan to the planning and design institutes of Nansha. They showed great interest in the GBAUDA, and expressed that they are willing to take part in its activities in Nansha, so as to promote the cooperation between Nansha and the Greater Bay Area and the quality life circle development there.
Nansha is taking its geographical advantages to keep attracting and cultivating high-level planning and design institutes, building a new highland for planning and design in the Greater Bay Area. It’s believed that the GBAUDA activities actively participated by each planning and design institute in Nansha will embark on a new and excellent journey.
